A 45:45:90- triangle is a isosceles triangle ( a right angle isosceles triangle to be precise), but all isosceles triangles are not 45:45:90 triangle .. The perimeter they give is 16+16sqrt(2), so if x is 16, then wouldn't the perimeter be 32+16sqrt(2)? Getting the 32 from 16*2 for the two equal length sides?

I deleted my last post because I thought the poster was saying the answer was E, but now I realize that was just what he chose, not the correct answer.
Right after you post there will be the edit button in the upper right corner of the post, and next to it should be a X. Hit that and it will delete it. I think it is only there for a limited time though.gabriel wrote:

Well have reported the situation to Eric.. posts can usually be only deleted by moderators .. there's some funny things happening on the board for the past few days .. but am sure it is not something that Eric can't fix .. All right here's ultimate reply. 8) FYI: any member can delete his own post if its located at the end of the thread.
