If x>y^2>z^4, which of the following statments could be true?

I x>y>z
II z>y>x
III x>z>y

A) I only
B) I and II only
C) I and III only
D) II and III only
E) I, II and III only

I can see that I and III could be true because
I - if x= 6; y=-2 and z=-1 the statments are satisfied
III - x= 6; y=-2 and z=1 the statments are again satisfied
OA is E
but why IS relation II true?

For example II

x=3/10
y=2/5
z=1/2

with x=0,5; y=0,4 and z=0,3 statment II is not satisfied ...

my fault.. should have been the other way around:

x=.3
y=.4
z=.5

Is there any way to find the answer quickly ..or we have to plug in the values and arrive at the solution ?
