IMO A

I was debating bet A n D but then A
B- with the case of is unidiomatic - OUT
C - traditiona pharmacies are compared with prescriptions - OUT
D - was a contender but to maintain parallelism with As it is and since it is; i opted A.
E - traditional pharmacies is being compared with cornerstone of a successful... - OUT

what's the OA?

E, I would eliminate it changes the meaning little bit,
they rely on prescription drug store its not the corner stone.

IMO: E

i am really difficult to understand C is the OA.

E is more clear than others.

A,B, D drugstores - plural should be eliminated because of pronoun its.

I just faced the same question... marked E but the OA is C. Anyone has any explanation for 'C' please?

i think C is the best option, since it describes the case with traditional pharmacies and that case being something to do with prescriptions. not sure though

A. "As it is with" is wrong

B. As with the case is not idiomatic

D. As...........So is not correct idiom

E. Like is use to compare similar things, Traditional pharmacies is not similar to cornerstone.........

A is wrong because "it"refer to the subject of second clause

e, d are wrong because they compare two things different

b is wrong because it is not idiomatic

C is right
