Could someone explain why together these are sufficient but each alone are sufficient to answer if the least height from A(r) is greater than the least height from B(s) with a yes or no?
This is a Yes/No question and for sufficiency all that is needed is a YES or NO answer to each (1) and (2)
1) No, Ar is not greater than Bs -- r is less than s as stated
2) No, Ar is not greater than Bs -- No info about r and s -- Not enough info from the greatest (g,h) to deduce that r is greater than s
The correct answer is be C, I chose E forgetting about the fact that for yes/no questions, sufficiency is acquired by a yes or no -- i defaulted to not sufficient and hence E -- now i am thinking D because of yes/no sufficiency rules and I am now confused.
I am clearly not thinking properly about this problem -- Kindly put me back on track -- much appreciated
