E is out because it isn't parallel. Whenever you have the structure "more X than Y," check to make sure that X and Y are truly parallel. "conforming more to the shape than flaunting..." fails the test. 'to the shape' is not parallel to 'flaunting'.

To put it another way, E is comparing how much it's "conforming to the shape" and how much it's "conforming flaunting shape" (which makes no sense at all). E is nonsense.

so, B and C out due to lack or proper idiomatic structure .."More...than" is not present


D, E ..use More X than Y---but X and Y are not parallel, as pointed above

i was able to eliminate C,D, and E off the bat simply because it changed the original meaning i.e. the stem mentions the word 'more' before ergonomic to emphasize that point, which CDE don't do because they don't tell us if it was the same ergonomically or more/less.

then its an easy choice of A between that and B.

one of the idiomatic structure is - X rather than Y

then how will we justify A ?

Yes, you can justify ..In comparsions, only specific idioms should follow parallelism.."More X than Y" falls in this category...but not "X rather than Y"

However, if it were "Not X but rather Y..surely X and Y have to be parallel"
