Hi,

I am taking GMAT tomorrow, but have a peculiar problem. My scores initially:

GMAT Prep 1 - 1 week back - Q50 V 40 730 (Q9Wrong V12Wrong)
GMAT Prep 2 - 2 days back - Q50 V 40 740 (Q8Wrong V9Wrong)

I retook both of these today without reinstalling the software and my scores were:
GMAT Prep 1 Retake - Q48 V 41 720 (Q9Wrong V9Wrong)
GMAT Prep 2 Retake - Q50 V 35 710 (Q9Wrong V11Wrong)

I had noticed people getting higher scores in their GMATPrep reattempts but guess my scores now have somewhat shaken me up. Could this be because of GMATPrep scoring algorithm? as in my reattempt, I marked lesser wrong answers, and still got a lower score ?

Appreciate your responses !

...Must understand that GMAT score doesn't depend on the numbers correct questions answered. But it depends on WHEN they are answered.
Also there are some experimental questions stuffed here-n-there in both verbal & quant section, which don't carry marks. So it becomes virtually impossible to know how much marks one would score in GMAT even when she/he knows no. of correct questions (in order) answered.

You're joking, right? Your scores are practically identical and you're worried?! This is beyond silly. Go watch a movie and relax. You will do just fine tomorrow unless you choose to continue wasting energy on freaking out about nothing.
