If R=1+2xy+x^2y^2 , what is the value of xy??

(1)R=0
this is 1+2xy+x^2y^2 = (xy+1)^2

so (xy+1)^2 = 0

so xy =-1 SUFF

(2)x>0

(xy+1)^2 =R

here val cannot be determined coz R is not known

ans should be A
