If R=1+2xy+x^2y^2 , what is the value of xy??
(1)R=0
this is 1+2xy+x^2y^2 = (xy+1)^2
so (xy+1)^2 = 0
so xy =-1 SUFF
(2)x>0
(xy+1)^2 =R
here val cannot be determined coz R is not known
ans should be A
