What question types specifically on verbal? In 2010 and 2011 I took the test twice and 1/3 of all the CR questions that I faced were "most useful to know in order to evaluate" questions. Strengthen and Weaken were not as numerous. OG 13 then added these questions as a major type. Also added to OG 13 were many Fill in the Blank questions. Are these the question types you found on the test? Was it anything NOT in this list: Strengthen, Weaken, Assumption, Most useful to know in order to EVALUATE, Bold-faced, Inference, Paradox, Plan. (and of course Fill-in-the-blank can be strengthen, inference, etc.).

As for reading comp, did you get a question such as "which of the following scenarios is most like the one described in paragraph 3" is that what you mean by parallel reasoning? If so, you can find questions like that in LSAT Reading Comp passages.

Thanks a lot David, I first gave 2 tests in 2007 without much preparation ; as opposed to power score CR where strengthen , weaken is stress more upon ; in fact they appearing more in RC, I also got a except question type in RC . You are right , Fill in the blank question type is more often appearing in CR. You are right I think we can prepare for such questions in CR , but RC is altogether matter ; we are not prepared to spend so much time on RC which is dense, long plus with difficult questions. For Quant I got a question which I got in 2007 but could not solve , Is this possible does GMAT CAT keep everything in memory for the candidate
