GMAT Score calculation

by ljr » Fri Jun 25, 2010 5:44 pm
Hi everyone,

I've been a silent on-looker for the last year or so :) You all have been helping me and you didn't even know it - Thank you!

Here's my question:

I keep having to guess on the last 12 or so questions in the math section and I usually get about three of those twelve right (nothing out of the ordinary). This happened both times when I took the GMATPrep tests and each time I scored a 45 in the math section.

Are the raw scores on the real GMAT calculated the exact same way as the GMATPrep tests? In other words, if I perform at the exact same level on the real GMAT as I have formed on practice tests, is my math score likely to be a 45 on G-day?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you,
JL
