Let M be Mark's wage/hr and J be Jacks wage/hr
We need to find out J -M
Given that J and M had a 6% increase in wage/hr.
So wages per hr will be 1.6J and 1.6M.
Stmt1:
Before increase
J = M +5
=> J-M = 5 ------------ 1
After the increase we have.
1.6J - 1.6M = ?
= 1.6(J-M) ------------ 2
Substituting 1 in 2
= 1.6 * 5
