GMAT Prep-Verbal mistakes Vs Verbal scores

Friends,
Please find my scores shown below.For the same number of mistakes in verbal,(11 mistakes), I got three different raw scores 36,37 and 31.
Score Q V Verbal mistakes
610 46 28 ----------------19
690 48 36 ----------------11
680 48 34 ----------------14
670 50 31-----------------14
710 50 37 ----------------11
690 50 31 ----------------11

What does this indicate? In the LAST test, did I make more number of mistakes in the higher difficulty range?. How do I interpret these results. Also in the last test, I had some 7 minutes remaining when I completed verbal section. Does the test penalize for finishing the test earlier? Your views, please.

For each multiple-choice section of the GMAT exam, there is a large pool of potential questions ranging from a low to high level of difficulty. Each section of the test starts with a question of moderate difficulty. If you answer the first question correctly, the computer will usually give you a harder question. If you answer the first question incorrectly, your next question will be easier. This process will continue until you complete the section, at which point the computer will have an accurate assessment of your ability level in that subject area.
The score isn't determined by how many questions you get right or wrong, and I suggest you to read the website above for more information.

It would make more sense that you missed more of the easy questions on the last test. You are penalized more heavily for missing easy problems than difficult ones.

Yes. Your logic makes sense. When I reviewed the questions, I noticed that I have missed some easy questions.
