we cant find the total no. of days from both stem.

From the first stem:
1000n= 5*600 + (n-5) x

where n is the total no of days and x is the no of units produced for the rest of the days.

Obviously not enough to solve the problem.

From the second stem:
1000n = 4*1500 + (n-4) x1

where n is the total no of days and x1 is the no of units produced for the n-4 days.
Again obviously not enough to solve the problem.

Combining both the equations: we have 3 variables, but only 2 equations.
Again we cannot solve the problem.

Ans: E

Please correct me if I am wrong.
