Statement I 2 loaves of bread when bought , the price per loaf is 10% less than the price when only 1 loaf is bought. Therefore, (p+q)/2 = (0.90)p p+q = 1.80p q= (.80)p p could be anything and q could be anything. Insufficient. Statement II 6 loaves are bought for$10

p + 5q = 10

p could be anything, q could be anything.

Therefore insufficient.

Combining I & II

p + 5q = 10
q= (.80)p

we can easily find the value of p from the above given equations.
Sufficient.
