Hi,

Can someone let me know why the
OA = E
and not C ? We have 2 variables & 2 equations here....thus can't we solve of X and Y ...get their values & find the difference pls

u should simplify the equations u get by solving the statements...
remember that knowing 2 distinct equations guarantees sufficiency..

statement1)

xy/(x+y) = 2/3x
after simplifying, we get
y=2x
insufficient

statement 2)
y= 2x
insufficient

together, the statements are the same, Hence insufficient
IMO: E
