Gmat prep Question

Hi Guys,

Looking to start Gmat prep from June 1st. Little bit of background...out of school for 10+ years and planning to take gmat in Nov or Dec 2014. Shooting for 700+. I have Manhattan gmat used guides along with O.G 12 & 13th edition. Aristotle S.C + Powerprep CR book.

Question is- I am thinking to take an online study course to give me the structure and discipline in the prep. I have shortlisted - Magoosh and empowergmat course. Which one do you think is best to provide complete prep. I intend to first get the content down and then strategies and then pacing.

Feel free to suggest your comments/Inputs.

Hi mickey80,

Regardless of how you choose to proceed, it's important to take a full-length practice CAT at the beginning of your studies so that you can get an immediate sense of your strengths and weaknesses. Most Test Takers don't do particularly well on the first CAT (since there is material that may seem unfamiliar and most Test Takers aren't yet trained to handle the endurance/pacing aspects of a full GMAT) but it's still important to take that first CAT.

I have access to both and already(after 1 or 2 days) prefer empowergmat.
