Hi sparsh!

this is how i did it !

total number of students =30

2 never buy ! so effectively we r talking abt 28 students

12(1)= 12 books
10 buy 2 books each = 20 books
remaining 6 should buy 3 miminum

but ! one student can have maximum !

but number of books avalaible is avg=2/student
=60 books in total

12+20=32 books and remaining 28 books for 6 students

now ! 5 will get their minimum share and 1 will get the max( thats the whole point )

5(3)+1(x)=28

x=13 books

Average=Sum/Number

2=[(2)(0)+(12)(1)+(10)(2)+(5)(3)+x]/30;x=13
