The no. of ways we can select 3 pepole out of 8= 8C3
these 3 can include married couples as well..so we'll remove the occuraces of married couples from these.
the no of ways in which married coulple ca be selected will be 4*2C2*6C1

How I arrived at this..
out of the 3, 2 of the married ones can be selected in 2C2 ways. One other(out of the remaining) can be selected in 6C1 ways.
So for selecting one married coulple the combination is 2C2*6C1
But since there are 4 couples..the no. of ways will be 4*2C2*6C1

Hence the no. of ways for selecting 3 ppl where no married couples will be selected becomes,
8C3-4*2C2*6C1 = 56-24 = 32

My answer is E

Cheers!
Aks
