4^17 - 2 ^28= (2^2)^17 - 2 ^ 28 = 2^34-2^28=
2^28(2^6-1)=2^28 * 63..so factors are 2 , 3, 7 hence the answer....

2^34-2^28= 2^28(2^6-1)
and then =2^28 * 63

take 2^28 common ...that leaves 2^6-1 where 2^6 = 64
