If x is positive, which of the following could be correct ordering of 1/x, 2x, and x^2?

(I) x^2 < 2x < 1/x
(II) x^2 < 1/x < 2x
(III) 2x < x^2 < 1/x

(b) I only

D is the answer
for x=1/2 > I
and for x=0.9 >II

what happens when the value of X is 1??
x^2 < 1/x < 2x doesn't satisfy as 1 is not less than 1..

x^2 < 1/x < 2x doesn't satisfy as 1 is not less than 1..
That's why question uses the term "could be correct ordering of 1/x, 2x, and x^2". Ordering is possible only when x is not 1, that's understood.
