A - 'the removal' and 'the clearning' are not structurally parallel
B - 'removing' and 'the clearing' are not structurally parallel
D, E - use of 'which' to modify whole clause is not accepatable on gmat

C - correct both 'the removing' and 'the clearing' are parallel

Btw what is OA

you fell in the same trap that I did.

OA is A

I was stuck between A and C and went with C because of the same line of reasoning but my non GMAT sense was telling me that "the removing of the native" is not the correct usage

Hi,

I choose A , it sounded good but why it is right as per grammer rules? nt sure?

REMOVAL OF FOXES Vs CLEARING OF WOODS

But paralleism will not work her e- as foxes have been removed before population statred increasing -so removal of - sounds good and in case of woods - clearing of woods - what past tense we can use suppose we had to make it parallel to -REMOVAL OF- can anybdy suggest?

Again very good question...experts pls advise
