Dear All,

I have started prep for giving my GMAT on Nov 22. I am studying about one hour daily and I am using OG 10 and OG 11 along with some online practice tests for Kaplan for Math. At the moment I believe that everything is going fine and I am not having too many problems with any section on the GMAT EXCEPT........SENTENCE CORRECTION........I am doing the Official Guide and almost 40 to 50% of my answers are turning out to be wrong. I am freaking out. The worst part is that I don't even seem to understand the solutions to the questions that I get wrong for e.g. what are modifiers, parallel construction, idiomatic and unidiomatic expression etc etc...what are these things? What do I do to find out what are the things that I can be tested on the Sentence Correction section on GMAT. I still have 2 months to go how do I start preparing for SCs. I need to brush up on a lot of basics I think. Somebody, anybody please suggest a way forward and some material that can prove very beneficial to me in terms of preparing for the SCs.

Regards

P.S. hoping to hear from you guys soon.

Manhattan SC book helped me a lot in my prep. It is considered good by many members on this forum. It will help you understand the concepts well.
Wish you good luck
