Lets substitute

1 - k > 35

let k be 36 + 5 = 41 , but if k is 40 then k+ 5 = 45 . Hence cannot firmly decide between 3 or 4


2 - but if units digits is greater than 5 , then we have numbers from 6 through 9 , which means k + 5 = 46 , 47 , 48 , 49

So 2 is sufficient . Hence B
