Quicker approach:
First split: Stinging causing --is wrong in this perspective. --Eliminate A and D.
Second split: Withe the result that" introduces subordinate clause. Eliminate B because it has no independent clause.
Third: Stinger results in the fact that----> means that stingers are in the fact. Eliminate C.
Answer is E.
