GMAT Prep exam changes?

After I took my first GMAT Prep Exam I clicked on reset after reviewing my answers.

I took the first GMAT Prep Exam again hoping it would be the same questions but the Quant and Verbal were completely different.

Does this mean you can reset as many times as you want and you will get different exams each time? (Therefore more than 2 GMAT Prep exam)

Apologies if this is a dumb question.

The GMATPrep tests are adaptive. The two tests each have a separate question bank. So there are no repeats between the two tests. However, when you reset a test you will be going back into that same question bank.

If you perform very differently, for example, much better on the test the second time, then you will likely get very different questions. However, most people do see some repeats when they retake. Still it is worth retaking each test 3 times each or so. That gives you a total of up to 6 tests from that GMATPrep software. (And of course the optional add-on prep pack gives you lots more questions is not any more actual "tests.")

And, no this is not a dumb question!
