Is the value of n closer to 50 than to 75?

a. 75-n > n-50
b. n > 60

75+ 50 /2 > n

n < 62.5

Insuff..

so n is nearer to 50

I think its A) and not D).Also when you use stmts together like u did should be C) and not D). May be its a typo also.

Stmt I

75-n > n-50

75+50>2n

125>2n

2n < 125

n<62.5

Definitely closer to 50 than 75 since 62.5 is the midpoint between 50 and 75

n > 60

If its 61 then its closer to 50
If its 69 then its closer to 75

INSUFF
