This one has been discussed in the forum many times before. But in case u have ur exam soon here is the short ans

With statement 1 & 2 combined u have the following info

angle rqs = angle rsq = z
so angle qrs = 180 - 2z

the same with the other triangle

angle tsu = angle tus = y
so angle rtu = 180 - 2y

also since angle qrs and angle rtu are parts of the bigger rt angle triangle the two together = 90

so 180 - 2y + 180 - 2z = 90

solve to get the value of z+y

now u see (pls use figure ) x + y + z = 180

since u now know value of y+z u get the value of anlge x
