for tis question you need to read three sentences only:

1) First sentence: traditional models: women should associate with men of their own class, not with women outside their class (better to have a poor husband than a rich lady friend)

2) Second sentence: some feminist social scientist: women are class of their own, regardless of social status. (women should stick together)

3) skip all the bullshit examples, and read the sentence beginning with "recently": recently feminist question this model, saying that working class women have different condition from middle class women (=women of other class) as well as working class men (men of same class as working class women).

So the recent feminists that the question asks us about are saying that both previous theories are wrong: women are not the same as men in their class (theory 1), nor the same as women in different class (theory 2) - which is what D says.
