GMAT Prep Day23

by skprocks » Fri Jul 16, 2010 8:31 pm
Hi Guys,

I just took the GMAT prep on July17,2010.Earlier one was on June 26,2010.
I was surprised though.Although I was almost rushing towards the end of the
QA section today, and had 17 incorrect answers in the Quant,I scored a 48 in the
quant. While in the VA I managed time well and scored 37.Overall Score was 690.

In the previous attempt(June26) although I had only 10 incorrect answers in QA,my score was
just 46 in QA.While with 10 incorrect answers last time in VA,the score of VA was same
i.e.37.

Do advise as to how the prep should look like for me going forward.
I have not been studying VA for last 22 days.
Please post your scores and experiences with the 60 day guide as well.
Regards,
Saurabh

Do you remember the number missed in a row? for example, missing 5 in a row 2 times will generally give you a lower score than missing 1 getting 3 right in a row, missing 1 getting 3 right etc... Or if you start off by missing 4 in a row it will be very difficult to work your way back up. Next time take a screen shot of your results and save it so when you retake the test you can compare scores and see why it is what it is...
