Guys,
Has anyone heard of ARCO and McGraw Hill for GMAT prep? Are these books recomended or just a waste of time?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would say that there are better materials out there.

On a related note: studying is about QUALITY, not QUANTITY. All you really need are the Official Guides and some sort of prep book from one of the GMAT companies. If you don't get the score you want from using those materials, you don't need more materials - you need to study differently.

I'd also add that you'll want to stick with one test preparation book initially. Sometimes you'll get differing opinions on how to solve a question...and your job isn't to become a master of the different strategies (leave that to the professionals : ) ), it's to get a great score.

There are many paths to perform your best. Just pick one (at least initially, and especially if you're doing self study.)
