given ratio February/January=3/2; February=3 January /2 (we cross multiply) equation(i)

We made the equation according to the question

February+40/January=5/3

put the equation (i) February=3 January /2 in February

3 January /2 +40/ January=5/3
solve this equation u will get 3 Jan +80/2 Jan =5/3 then cross multiply
3(3jan +80)=10 Jan
9jan +240=10 Jan
240=10 Jan- 9Jan
240=January Answer
