1. Directors - D
Managers - M

We need to find D/(D+M)

1 & 2

Average salary for all X. Given managers salary is 5k less than average & directors salary is 15k less than average.

I follow a simple method to find the ratio:

M - 5
Average - X
D - 15

D:M are in the ratio of 5:15. Hence C

2. We have W:C, we need to find M

1&2

W C M
5 2 ......1
Stmt 1 5 11 ......2

Multiply (1) with 5 & (2) with 5 to get

W C M
25 10 22

Since stmt 2 states that w is less than 30, men must be 22.

Hence C
