I think so A is the ans....becoz st 2....doesnt support. But,
st 1 tells u that R(a) + R(B) = 1.5 / 100 customers......
we can get the rate of A / 100 customers from question itself...then it is easy to find R(b)/ 100 customers.....easily....
hence 1st is sufficient...
Correct me if iam wrong....

Can you elaborate more ...?

Why cant we calculate service-rate/100 customers for DIV: A from Question itself and then use statement I to get service rate for DIV: B ?

I: This tells us the how many errors there were based on the total customers A + B. We do not know B. Not Suf

II: Tells us total number of B customers. But does not give us a means to find how many errors were produced in division B. Not Suf


Using both we now have the total (A+B) as well as at error rate. Ans C
