Hi Guys,

I may be wrong, someone please correct me if so.

There are not many cds I could find which offer a lot of practice tests. I would like to give a lot of practice tests for GMAT. Could someone please enlighten me?

Btw, I took the first step towards gmat preparation by giving a kaplan free gmat test. I scored a 520. I scored almost same in all the sections.

Someone please enlighten me about the practice test and where can i get them, and which practice test are more similar to the actual gmat test

I took a sample test - a first attempt to see where I stand in gmat - and there I am ---520
Now 700 + is a long journey man!!

I would focus on MGMAT (google manhattan GMAT) and GMAT Prep (free from mba.com)

These are by far the best and should be sufficient (I only used these but took some tests more than once). If you really want to get a lot of practice you may want to try to get your hands on some Kaplan test.

Stay away from 800score or Arco etc.

There are only a handful of free tests online and as the other guy said, a lot of them are junk. Princeton Review has a free one and it's good:

And of course the GMATPrep ones as already mentioned.

For the most part, you're going to need to buy tests. I got PR's Cracking the GMAT for four more tests, and the strategies were useful too. I would read that book to get started, then get the Official Guide for practice questions.

Go with Manhattan GMAT--it is BY far the most accurate free on online (besides MBA.com).
Note: Kaplan WAY shades down your score. I got in the 500s in Kaplan and got in the 700s on the real thing. Beware.

I have used Manhattanquestion banks($29) and its a great resource.

I also bought the 6 exams for $39.99. If you buy a Manhattan guide I think these 2 are free (I m pretty sure; u can give them a call and check)

If you could dish out $200 Kaplan online quiz bank is also an excellent resource.

For GMAT practice makes u perfect (on the assumption that we understand the concepts involved).

Use the OG's as your bible and the resources I have mentioned above are excellent supplmental resources.
