So here comes my GMAT story.
I started preparing for GMAT in December or January for the first time, before that I didn't know anything about the test.
When I started to study for GMAT I was terrified all that math had nothing to do with stuff we've learned in college and didn't remember most of that. But I worked really hard, although I was a little short with time since I had classes every day and exams, and through time my performance improved a lot. So I scheduled an appointment in April. A week before the exam I scored 670 on the GMATPrep and day before the exam 630. I thought that the worst score I could get is 550.
On the test day I performed horrible. I run out of time on the quantitative part, I had about 3 or 4 minutes and almost 10 questions. Verbal was better but not much. When the computer showed me the score I was speechless - 480 I didn't think I could score that low in any scenario.
After that I wanted to give up, I didn't want to take that test ever again. I was seeking for an alternative but there isn't any. I've always wanted to study abroad I I've find an excelent school in Paris (and I'm in love with Paris since I first saw it 5 years ago) and to go there I need GMAT with a score 630+.
So, I started to practice again and here I am. I have the test in one month but it seems that I'm in the same place for weeks that I'm not improving at all.My score five days ago was 610 but yesterday it was 570 but it just isn't good enough. I feel I'll never succeed. I don't event know how to study anymore since it seems I'm just not improving enough.
Does anyone have a similar experience? Or any advice?
Because all of this is just so discouraging...
