hey guys, I'm getting a bit frustrated with this... I've been studying since aug 2010... I took the gmat in December 2010,, and got a 520 ( 40q and 22v) I started studying in January putting a lot of effort on verbal... I bought the power score CR bible, the MGMAT sentence correction and the Aristotle RC PDF... I'm reading 2-3 passages per day... not seeing improvements... practice a lot from the og12 and the og verbal review... I ve practiced quant as well... I bought the 800score cats... I took one this morning just the quant section and got a 41... yesterday I got a 37 on math... I don't know whats going on...im allover the place in quant.. in verbal im about a 30...( good thing is that im seeing an improvement)

do you guys think I should get into a course? im thinking knewton or veritas... ( online offcourse)

I took a live class in knewton and found it very cool...

I am in desperate need of guidance... Im very disciplined.. I study around 2.5 hrs each day even more on week ends so its not that Im lazy to study its that I dont think that what Im doing is the best or fastest way... I'm not in a hurry to take the gmat. However I would like to get it over with in 2 months if its possible..

I am in the same boat. I too am wondering whether it will be a good idea to enroll for a online/class.
I have been out of touch both in math and verbal. The mocks that I have been taking are not giving me any encouragement, making me wonder sometimes whether these are ploys by these institutes to lower our morale. But when I analyze the mistakes, I realize that it may do me some good. Any advice?

It might be a good idea to get into a class... I mean they do have good reviews and all... and also I think that the way in which they teach will help us a lot.. Im just wondering how des everyone that does NOT enroll to an online class gets through with the gmat...

those students had to experience something like us... Im just waiting if anyone can give us some guidence...

Sounds like you have already been through a course and may benefit more from a tutor who can help you to address your personal strengths and weaknesses. if you have already taken a live course you may find yourself reviewing more than learning new ways to deal with the exam. Tutoring can be more expensive, however a good tutor can target your problem areas and improve your score in a shorter time.
