GMAT hacks math bible

by navalpike » Tue Sep 01, 2009 2:33 pm
Hi,

I have a general question. Has anyone on this forum used the Total GMAT Math ( a.k.a. GMAT hacks math bible) and scored above a 700 because of it? I am looking to make the jump from 660 to 700+ and quant has always been my biggest problem. But I have read very few posts on this forum discusing this particular book.

Please share your thoughts if you have used the book.

Thanks,

Been researching this book for some time now ... well i can say for sure the book wont get you 700+. All it'll do is give you the concepts tested on the GMAT quant across all the topics and few tough examples to practise .. !!!

Have used the book. This book covers all concepts and explain them in very clear and concise manner followed by some questions. But I feel this book can do more good with actual GMAT examples. If you want to learn concepts e.g. probablity/combination/ratios etc. this can give you a headstart.
But I would also recommend MGAT books.

Get the MGMAT flashcards.

I downloaded them last week and have been going through them. They have helped me a lot! The best part is they are free to download!
