Hi All,

I gave my GMAT exam today and scored disappointing 580 I know its not a good score but still wanted to know are there some good colleges in US/ Canada that I can look forward to or I am better off giving another shot at the GMAT. I am an Indian IT male and have work experience of 3yrs and GPA of 2.5 with some extra curricular's as well. Really looking forward to some advise from you people

Getting an admission in a good college with a GMAT score of 580 and a GPA of 2.5 is very difficult. To make things more difficult for you, you belong to the most competitive segment of an Indian IT Male. You have time. If I were you, I would retake GMAT and aim for a better score (around 700) to compensate for your low GPA to stand a chance at good universities. A good GMAT score coupled with good application essays will definitely increase your chances at getting selected.
