My mock tests scores:
MGMAT 1 - 610 (Q 42, V 34)
MGMAT 2 - 580 (Q 39, V 32)
GMATprep 1 - 650 (Q 44, V 35)
MGMAT 3 - 640 (Q 44, V 34)
GMATprep 2 - 650 (Q 45, V 34)
Actual exam - 620 (Q 44, V 32)
I prepared with MGMAT strategy guides, practiced with OG 13 and the quant/verbal review guides, and after getting the scores in first 2 MGMAT mock tests joined the EMPOWERgmat course to improve my quant primarily. Then re-did the OG 13 guide with the new strategy learnt.
The quant on the actual exam was the same level as the GMATprep but I found the verbal to be quite difficult; 2 out of 4 RC passages were high in difficulty, 90% of the CR questions were in a different format (none of the straight strengthen or weaken questions).
I was targeting a score of 650-700. Do the experts here think I should try again? Right now, I can't seem to think of a way to overcome my weaknesses in quant, but if any one can suggest a 30-60 day study plan that will target my weak areas in quan and lift my scores by 50 points or so, please let me know.
