Median = (10th term + 11th term)/2 [Even No of terms]

= (84+84)/2 = 84

If there are odd # of terms, then the median of a set of numbers is the middle term and if there are even # of terms then the median is the average of the two middle terms.

Here the set has 20 terms (even # of terms), so the median will be the average of the 10th and 11th terms.

Now arrange the terms in increasing order, we see that the first 3 terms, 48, 70, 80, account for 9 of the 20 terms. Therefore, the 10th and 11th terms in the set will both be 84, so the median will also be 84.

The correct answer is B.
