The GRE and GMAT scores don't cross calculate. Meaning you can't use a GRE score in place of a GMAT and vice versa. It's also difficult to assess how you might score on the GMAT based on a GRE score. Very few bschools will accept a GRE in lieu of a GMAT score. Be sure to check the requirements at each school before you start your applications.

I understand that my question was very open-ended. I have written the GMAT, however I have seen that the school I wish to apply to indicates that its mininum GRE is 650. I wanted to get a broad idea what this score could equate to in terms of the GMAT (bearing in mind that these are different tests etc). Would that roughly translate to a 550, 650 or 750 on the GMAT? Really just looking to gauge whether we on average look at increasing or reducing the score by for example a 100 or 200 points.

Thanks for the clarification. ETS offers a GRE/GMAT comparison tool https://www.ets.org/gre/2008/9934/tool.html that you can use to convert your score. I hope this helps.
