- GMAT Score:720
Hi,
I gave the GMAT last Tuesday and got 700 (Quant 49, Verbal 38) on the GMAT. The way the test was going, I was felt good and expected to see a score of around 740. I was kinda surprised when I ended up with 700. I found the test to be easier than any other practice I had taken.
I am looking at the August 2011 batches mostly though I will give my luck a try for some of the universities that start their batches in Spring 2011 too.
My profile.
Profession: IT engineer, 5 years 3 months experience,
GMAT: 700
College Degree: Engineer, Computer Science, First Class.
NO International experience.
Should I retake the GMAT? Unfortunately, I am not sure where have I gone wrong in the GMAT. So If I have to prepare more, I dont know where to give attention to. But I think Sentence Correction is one definite Area.
With this kind of a profile, do you think it is worth giving the GMAT again? I am looking to enter one of the top 30-40 schools.
Also, if I have to retake the GMAT, I am unsure what more material to get. I completed the official guides and Kaplan practice during my prep stages.
Please advice.
Thanks!

Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert.
