Hi Jim,

Thanks for the prompt reply.
As suggested I have approached NGOs
to start volunteering.
What else can help me right now.

Regards,
Suchit

Don't worry, you stand a good chance if you send a quality application detailing your career objectives & achievements precisely.
Lot of engineers apply for a place in coveted MBA programs worldwide and as bschools try to achieve diversity in MBA cohorts, at times a lot of quality candidates are overlooked. The only thing that you can do here is explain your career aspirations & what you wish to achieve from the MBA program in a different yet in an original way, it should come straight from your heart & you should be able to defend it in the interview.

Also apply to HKUST & CEIBS.

Hey,

I am about 3 yrs IT experienced now, and I got into NUS 2012 intake. Its definitely doable, though a bit difficult for our demographic group. I had 3-4 stuff going for me, which helped in cracking an admit. Good Luck!

Hi sm3.friendz,

I'd advise you to apply for the other local universities as well - NTU and SMU - they're as equally reputable as NUS, take a look at their programs -

https://www.business.smu.edu.sg/MBA/
https://www.nbs.ntu.edu.sg/GRADUATE/NANY ... g_MBA.aspx

These programs are recognized by the Singaporean government, and consequently many of the MNCs with offices here. SPRING Singapore is an agency under our Ministry of Trade and Industry, they've only listed 6 MBA programs that qualify for their education grants, SMU and NTU are placed alongside INSEAD and Manchester Business School - https://www.spring.gov.sg/EnterpriseIndu ... r-mds.aspx

If you do get into the NUS MBA program, consider applying for a scholarship, it will help subsidies your tuition fees significantly. Singapore has set aside generous amounts of money for students who do well academically, and funded their education fully or to a significant extent, usually without any bonds attached. List of scholarships available - https://www.coursesinsg.com/2012/06/scho ... r-mba.html

My GMAT is on the lowest side and I am very hesitant to write the GMAT. Any idea on my candidature. ( I know with IT experience it is damm tough to get an interview invite from NUS).

Hi everybody,

I am from India and have done my B.Tech with English as a medium of instruction. GMAT Score:680. Do I still need to take IELTS for pursuing MBA in NUS?

Thankyou
