GMAT 530

I just took the GMAT and scored 530 (q27 v35). I was shocked because I was scoring around 630-660 on my practice tests. I used manhattangmat books and believed that I understood the concepts.
The good news is that my target score is 660 but I have only one month before retaking and I honestly don't know what else to do in order to get this score. Any advice will be appreciated.

Your verbal looks good, I'd say the next one month focus on Quant, if you get your quant score to around 45, with a 35 in verbal, you should be in the 660 range.

Thanks for the reply. On the practice tests that I took, I was already scoring in the range of 40-43 for quant. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep that up on the real test. So,I'm just wondering if there is anything else I can do.

That's a huge drop then. What practice tests were you taking?

Have you also used the OG in your prep? Have your tried keeping an error log and reviewing some questions?

I was using the manhattangmat tests and I also practiced with gmatprep a few times. I used OG 12 especially for the PS but not so much for the DS.

I didn't keep the regular error log though but I went over my tests and wrote down the topics in which I didn't perform well. Then, I would go back to the textbooks to understand those topics.

So, do you really think keeping the suggested error log is the main factor for my improvement?

I think it's really important to keep track of your strengths and weaknesses. I can't say for sure if this was the main issue, could have been just stress.
