This is my first time posting after some time lurking.
I want the advice of the forum concerning prepping for the test. Beginning in 2011, I have taken the test a total of 3 times, and although I haven't signed up for the next attempt, I plan to soon.
I have scored no higher than a 420, with my strengths strongly biased to the verbal; I do not remember the precentile breakdown, unfortunately. I have had no issues at all on the AWA, scoring a 6 on all the attempts Ive made. **It should be noted, the last time I took the test, there was no IR section.
I have decided not to work and focus solely on prepping for the test.
I would like to ask your advice in putting together a study plan to strategize and budget the time I am going to need to reach my goal score. My goal is 700+ -as is everyone's, I'm sure
I feel good about prepping for the test this time. Some things have changed in my life for the better, and I believe that now would be the best time for me to attack.
Basically, I wont have to wake at 5 in the morning, and work 10 hours a day only to have to cram after work and on the weekends. I remember being really tired while studying and not being able to focus.
The time I can honestly budget to pure studying would be about 6 hours a day during the week, and another 6 hours a day on Saturdays. As for materials, I have the complete 4th edition of Manhattan GMAT books as well as the 11th, 12th and 13th official guides.
Thanks in advance for all the advice. I am looking forward to putting a solid plan of attack together to finally move along and "beat the GMAT"!
