GMAC GMAT Practice Test

by SShah » Tue May 05, 2009 9:54 am
OK,

So I took the GMAC practice test last night and I got a 360! ;-(.

The math questions seemed a bit different from the Kaplan test. Are these questions a little more accurate of what is on the GMAT as opposed to the Kaplan test?

Also, it shows me the correct answer but it won't explain why it is the correct answer. It isn't very helpful.

Has anyone else seen a difference in the questions/question types?

Unfortunately, the GMAC practice tests are definitely the most accurate out there. After all, they were created by the actual GMAT test writers. So, have a look at what you got wrong and try to begin to formulate a plan to get that score up!

As for the explanations - it's true that those practice exams don't provide explanations. In a way, that's a good thing, since (if you've ever taken a look at the Official Guide) the explanations the GMAC gives are usually pretty bad.

Let me know if you have more specific questions!

Many of the GMATPrep questions have been answered somewhere in the forum, so do a little search.

If not, you can ask for help in the relevant section.
