Q. Is the quadrilateral PQRS a rectangle?

1) All sides are equal
2) None of the angles are more than 90

From 1: Rectangular and trapezoid cannot have all sides equal. Square, parallelogram, and rhombus have all sides equal.

From 2: Only square and rectangular have angles that each are not more than 90.


I know I have some concepts wrong. Please correct me.

You got all the concepts you need for this question down. Just remember that the value of the 4 angles HAS to be 360 in all cases, there are no exceptions.

So in statement (2) if no angle is greater than 90, then they all HAVE to equal 90 by default since 90*4=360 --> rectangle or square.

If the question asked is it a square, the correct ans. would be C, but since it asks if it is a rectangle, knowing that all angles = 90 is good enough to know it's a rectangle -- B is sufficient
