OA is D ???

Circumference of the circle is 2*pi*r

so the radius of each circle is 1

so if see closely .... each side of the triangle is a radius by itself.....

whuch in turn inference for all 1 on each side of the triangle

so using the formula for equilateral triangle area =(root3/4 )*r^2

r=side=radius

root3/4 is the answer

Can anyone clarify this one again. Is each of the sides equal to 1?
circumference = 2(pi)(r)

2pi = 2(pi)r
r= 1 or not?

I see that each side of the triangle is equal to the radius of the circle so what is the radius of the circle? once I get the radius can I use a=1/2bh?

triangle is an equilateral triangle.

formula for the area of an equilateral triangle = ( (Base)^2 * sqrt (3) ) / 4

AB = base = radius

circumference = 2PiR

so 2PiR = 2Pi
so R = 1

then just plug 1 into the area formula above. done.

I was going back over this problem, but is the answer square root (3)/4? thats not an answer choice is it?

by construction its an equilateral triangle....of length radius of the circle...circ,ference is 2PIr = 2PI so r =1.
If u know the formula of equilateral triangle: (3^1/2)/4*s^2 so result will be (3^1/2)/4

are.......1/2bh is only for right angle triangle boss....beware...general triangle is HERRON's formula...remember s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)..bla bla
