Most programs start applications processes around august 2010 for fall 2011 entry.

So some time between now and aug would be ideal to give the test. that way u can apply for the first round.

For booking your test date and other info, go to https://www.mba.com/

Create a profile, choose your region, and go through the calendar to see when you can take your exam. Some centers have an exam thrice a day through the year, so you should likely get any day you want unless you're region is busy.

If you are considering applying for fall of next year, you should ideally give your GMAT before August of this year to ensure that you have enough time for the applications. First round deadlines are usually around October 2010.

Good luck!
