I am fustrated because I took a gmat prep cat yesterday and I scored a 450 on it. I am only aiming for a 550 and I have taken 5 MGMAT CATs so far and I have made a 540 on the last two (29Q,36V - for both).

I take the GMAT a week from this SAT and I feel like I have been knocked back to sqaure one. I have heard that the GMAT prep is alot like the actual exam so that doesn't make me feel any better. The thing is i missed the same amount on the verbal on both examsand on GMAT PREP CAT I got a 25 compared to the 36 I got on the MGMAT CAT.

I was hoping someone could shed light on this... I have a feeling the 450 I got is how I am actually going to do on the exam. SIGH!!!

It could be a lot of things, but honestly it's hard for us to guess exactly. It could be nerves, it could be the change from MGMAT to real GMAT questions, it could be that you were not in top shape. The question is do you feel that it's an anomaly or is it normal? How did you score on the other 5 MGMAT exams?
