I graduated from Walden University in Jan. 2010 with a bachelors in business management and have been working in the accounting field for 7-8 years. I currently work as a payroll coordinator. As of yet I have very little leadership experience in regards to my job, as there is not alot of opportunity for it, but I feel it would be beneficial to my development in my career and as I move forward to completing my MBA if I gain some leadership experience. I believe it could help me do better when I do attend B-school.

Can you give me some guidance as to

1) Should I wait to apply for B-school until I work in a role with more responsibility and leadership experience?
2) Is the fact that I attended a online school for my undergrad going to hurt my chances of acceptance if I want to attend a traditional B-school enviroment, for example SMU Cox school Business or UTD School of Management?
3) What else can I do to gain more experience to put me in a leadership role?
